General conditions of online sale

Every user of this website, here addressed as customer, compromises to respect the general conditions of sale, previously mentioned, which will determinate its relation with Caminhar, contractually.

 

I – The customer will be making its online shopping through the following website: www.caminhar.pt. In order for it to be possible, personal data/information will be required.

Caminhar guarantees that the customer’s personal data/information will not be used for anything else beyond the purpose it serves, assuring the confidentiality and secrecy of the same. Its loss or adulteration and unhallowed access won’t be permitted.

 

II -The customer accepts to receive campaigns and offers information of the present website through its personal e-mail or mobile phone; only if he has accepted this particular situation on the costumer registration process. The personal data, namely the address, e-mail and phone number, may be given to other companies, particularly the ones responsible for delivery, in order for the products to be delivered in a faster and more efficient way.

 

III -will have the following ways of payment:

  • Paypal
  • Credit card visa and mastercard
  • Bank transfer to the account that is indicated on the order process ATM (by presenting the data to proceed to payment. Entity, reference and amount.)

 

IV – It is reserved to us, Caminhar, the right to change the price of our products anytime, without previously notifying the costumer. The amount billed will always be the one indicated online by the time in which the costumer made the order through its personal account.

 

V – The final price of the order that the customer will pay will be communicated during the online buying process. When finishing the order, where the customer has given the authorization to the validation of the contract of sale, he accepts the costs and all the designated general conditions. The expedition of the products shown in www.caminhar.pt is limited to the existing stock, therefore we ensure to do everything we can in order to only show the products that are effectively available. However, if there’s a situation in which the stock is ending, the order and the contract between the customer and Caminhar loses its effect to the present resolution clause. If the customer has already paid, the amount will be fully refunded, without the need to make an indemnity that may favor only one of the parts involved. The sold products may suffer non-significant changes in its characteristics and components, as long as there is no decrease of the quality/characteristics that are shown.

 

VI – All products that are sold in www.caminhar.pt have warranty, which is never less than 2 years and is stipulated by the manufacturer of the product, as it is established by the 23/2033 Warranties and Sale of Consumption Assets Law, as long as it is fulfilled according to the manipulation conditions, to the right use/conservation and within the deadlines covered by the warranty certificates.  The certificates of warranty are valid in all countries that are members of the European Union.

 

VII – To us, Caminhar, is reserved to right to refuse the dispatch of an order by the inexistence of a product, the lack of stock or a failed payment, by the customer himself.

 

VIII – The comments or opinions published by the users of the present website are monitored by Caminhar and every time one of them transgresses the law and ethic (such as abusive publicity, insults, defamatory purposes, decontextualized comments, etc.), it is reserved to us the right to change or refuse them.

 

Delivery Charges

 

We have a free delivery charge service to all of Portugal’s continental territory in purchases up 400€.

For the following countries the delivery charges are free to purchases up 500€.

For the following countries the delivery charges will have the following costs:

Exchanges and Return Policy

Exchanges:

Exchange the shoes you bought in an easy way, within 14 days after the day you’ve received the order.

After this, with all the commodity, you will receive your new product on the address you gave us. The delivery changes costs will always be paid by the customer.

 

Return:

 

In accordance with what is stipulated on the 6th article of the Law Decree no 143/2001 of 26th of April, to the customer, it is available a deadline of 14 days to solve the contract without paying an indemnity and without the need to indicate the reason. The deadline starts on the day the customer receives the order.

Thereby, it could be considered a free resolution of the contract and the return of the amount of the same will be performed, with the exception of the delivery charges, by the same mean of payment that was used by the customer.

The customer should be aware of the fact that the products that are exchanged or returned should be in perfect conditions, meaning, they should have not been used or have signs that prove otherwise.

If the returned/exchanged products are not in a perfect condition and able to be sold again, if they show signs of having been used before, if they are damaged or if they don’t have the proper boxes, instructions /documents and the original packing materials, the exchange and the refund won’t be possible, because this is not Caminhar’s responsibility. The user will be responsible for the transportation costs.
